To move the magic wand and pull men closer to her, Pooja is all set to come among the audience with her mesmerising voice on August 25th. Yes, you guessed it right! Dream Girl 2 is on its way to theatres, and people can’t wait to see her and get a dose of laughter. Ayushmann, while sharing the trailer of Dream Girl 2, wrote in the caption, "Life ki sabse dangerous performance dene jaa raha hoon, pyaar zaroor dena! (I'm going to give the most dangerous performance of my life: give love.)"

The trailer starts with Annu Kapoor giving the phone to Karam (Ayushmann) to talk to the credit card employee as they haven’t paid the bills on time, and Pooja, with her sweet voice, moulds the conversation with the employee. The trailer shows the problems Karam faces in fulfilling the demands and impressing his girlfriend’s father for marrying her. To solve the problems, Karam dons as Pooja to fool people, but this time not only with her voice but also with her beauty. She joins a nightclub to earn money, but a man named Shahrukh (Abhishek Banerjee) falls in love with her, and his family offers Pooja 50 lakhs to marry him. Under the mountain of debts owed by his father and to marry the love of his life, Pari (Ananya Panday), Karam agrees to go to any extent.

It will be very interesting to see how Pooja deals with her new admirer, who has brought thunder into her life. Apart from all the tickles and laughter, the audience will get to see a fresh on-screen pair of Ayushmann and Ananya. Annu Kapoor has also been seen waxing Ayushmann's chest, which is hilarious. With the main cast of Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday, other actors like Vijay Raaz as Sona Bhai, Rajpal Yadav as Shoukiya, Manoj Joshi as Jaipal Srivastav, Abhishek Banerjee as Shahrukh, Seema Pahwa as Jumani, Manjot Singh as Smiley Dhillon, and Ranjan Raj as Tiger Pandey can be seen in the trailer. Veteran comic actors Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, and Asrani Saab are also part of the 2019 sequel, Dream Girl.

The makers have also raised the bar of the much-awaited movie by adding dance to the song 'Dil Ka Telephone' by Pooja.

Dream Girl 2 is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster comedy Dream Girl. In its first part, the movie collected around ₹200 crore at the box office. In Dream Girl 2, Ananya Panday is the female lead, but in its prequel, Nushrratt Bharuccha shared the screen with Ayushmann.
