Jawan Review: King Khan Again Sprinkles His Magic on the Audience With His Performance in Jawaan; Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi Receive Applause for Their Acting Skills

After the huge success of Pathaan, King Khan is all set to party with the Jawan team. SRK’s recently released Jawan is breaking records, and fans can’t stop praising the actors and director of the movie. Written and directed by Atlee, Jawan is a full paisa vasool movie that is being released on around 5,500 screens nationwide in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. It has already broken records for advance booking, surpassing blockbusters like Pathaan and Gadar.

As most people already knew, SRK would play a double role in Jawan, but it is now revealed how and why. The King of Romance is no doubt playing a double role in the movie, not as brothers but as father and son. It is interesting to see SRK in two different roles of the two generations, where at one place he is a police officer and at another, he plays the role of a Jawan. Raising not only voice but also showing actions against the cruelty the system does to farmers, poor people, and citizens of this country, SRK as Azad and Vikram Rathore show a mirror to the authorities from agriculture to health.

The movie's first scene shows how an unknown person is saved by a tribe situated on the northern borders of India, and later he saves the people of that tribe from goons. Then the story travels to 30 years, and the metro scene is shown, which is hijacked by SRK and his gang of six girls, who are later shown as the victims of the cruelty of the system who fight against the odds of the steps taken by the authorities. Nayanthara plays the role of a cop who makes negotiations with the hijacker and later, unknowingly, marries him for her daughter Suzi. The movie has interesting twists and turns with messages to the authorities and people who are not happy with the system. The movie highlights issues like farmer suicide, corruption, bank loans, and unlawful acts by businessmen. At last, SRK gives a speech and one can say talk directly to his fans or audience about their power to choose a responsible position holder who can govern them in a fair way.

Without giving more spoilers, let’s move forward to the amazing cameos by Deepika Padukone, the director himself, Atlee, and a big surprise to the audience, Sanjay Dutt. Atlees’s movie is fully loaded with fantastic actors like Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, Priyamani, Ehjaaz Khan, Sunil Grover, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi. Vijay plays the negative character in Jawan, and the audience can’t hold their breath to clap for his superb performance in the movie. Nayanthara also brings an aura whenever she comes on screen and her look and acting are surely praiseworthy. The music of Jawan is also good, but except for the title track and Chaleya, the other songs are not up to the mark. Cinematography is amazing as each shot and detailing is a treat to the eyes. 

Jawan has everything you would expect: action, emotion, drama, thrills, romance, comedy punches, and of course, the charm of SRK.
